Product description
Glenfarclas Distillery was founded by Robert Hay in 1836 and since 1865 has been owned and operated by the Grant family. The distillery made its name for strict wood policy and sherry cask matured single malt.
Glenfarclas is equipped with the largest stills in Speyside (29,600 liters wash stills and 25,000 liters spirit stills) and produces roughly 3.4 million liters of spirit per annum. It is impossible to keep track of the distillery limited releases; the good thing is that they are usually exceptionally good. Here we have Glenfarclas 20 years old bottled exclusively for the German importer at the dawn of the New Millennium. Only 2000 bottles were produced.

Palate: rich, bitter orange marmalade, grapefruits, dark chocolate, honey, crème brûlée, roasted almonds, nutmeg, mixed dried herbs, hints of leather and oak.
Finish: long, with notes of dark chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel, hints of leather and tobacco and sherried oak.
