Product description
Grant's is currently number 4 on the list of the most popular Scottish blends. With annual sales of over 4.2 million cases (2019), it is second only to Johnnie Walker (18.4 million cases), Ballantine's (7.7 million cases) and Chivas (4.4 million).
William Grant & Sons, the owner of the brand, has four malt distilleries (Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Ailsa Bay) and one grain distillery (Girvan) and we can assume that the key to the blend formula is the whiskies from them (with minimal participation from Balvenie). Grant's Distillery Edition in its latest incarnation debuted in 2018 intended for exclusive distribution in the Travel Retail network. The whisky is bottled without chill filtration with an alcohol content of 46.3% and, as the producer claims, is a nod to the employees of Girvan Grain Distillery.
