Product description
Glendronach Distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardes and has had a succession of eminent owners.
Their long list includes Walter Scott of Teaninich, Charles Grant (son of William, the founder of Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries), William Teacher & Sons, Allied Domecq, BenRiach Distillery Company and finally Brown-Forman Corporation. In the last decade GlenDronach has been rightly enjoying its cult status and the Allied decision from 1996 to mothball the distillery still surprises many. GlenDronach 2008 Vintage presented here was aged in “finest Pedro Ximénez sherry casks” for 11 years and bottled on October 16, 2019 for “Professional Danish Retailers”. Only 3500 bottles were produced.
