Product description
Los Arango tequila, named in honor of revolutionary hero José Doroteo Arango, better known as “Pancho Villa” is crafted using 100% hand picked blue agave and specially formulated yeast.
During the Mexican Revolution an agave field worker was extremely grateful to Pancho Villa for ousting a group of local aggressors. To honor his efforts the master tequilero created very authentic tequila using an artisan recipe and put it into hand-made bottle. Los Arango tequila is produced at Hacienda Corralejo, the first estate in Mexico (founded 1755) to produce tequila as a commercial venture. We are not certain if Los Arango Coffe Liquor falls into “flavored tequila” or “tequila liquor” category. What matters most is the fact that the panel of judges at the 2020 Tequila and Mezcal Masters awarded it Gold. (Producer’s note.)
Nose: intense aromas of roasted coffee mixed with hints of caramel; light agave aroma with smoky finish.
Palate: strong coffee flavor with light notes of agave; creamy sweet, and lasting flavor matching the aromas.
Finish: the coffee taste decreases allowing the tequila flavor.
