Product description
The story of the Malecon brand began in the 1990s when young Marco Silva joined his father’s company. It manufactured typical liqueurs and imported coffee for the Italian market.
Looking for best suppliers of quality coffee beans, Marco travelled extensively in Central America, where one day his path crossed with that of a certain rum master blender. An introduction to the world of rums took place. The Malecon brand was named after a street in Havana, and is a tribute to the traditional Cuban methods of rum production that are still practised in the Caribbean Spirits distillery in Panama. The Malecon brand offers a wide range of rums – from young, budget spirits to the well-matured, old rums, and special expressions.
