Bunnahabhain 12 years old has been at the forefront of Bunnahabhain's core offering for over 30 years.

Since 2010, the whisky has been bottled without prior cold filtration, with an alcohol content increased to 46.3%, which has a positive effect on its aromatic and flavor palette. Bunnahabhain is a key malt in the Black Bottle blend formula , and can also be found in Cutty Sark. The distillery belongs to Burn Stewart Distillers, whose assets were acquired by Distell Group from South Africa in 2013.

Aroma : fresh barley malt, sea breeze and seaweed, traces of iodine, delicate fruity and peaty notes.

Palate : mild, slightly creamy, breakfast cereal with nuts and raisins, chocolate, distant note of sherry.

Finish: medium long, slightly herbal, coffee beans, nuts, sherry oak cask.
