Mezcal La Escondida is produced in the town of Santiago Matatlan in the Mexican state of Oaxaca.

Made from 100% Espadin agave and distilled twice in traditional copper pot stills, La Escondida is a joven mezcal, meaning it is bottled without maturing in oak barrels.

Aroma: Earthy and smoky accents.

Taste: Sweet and spicy notes, a touch of honey, a bit of smoke.

Finish : Medium long, spicy and smoky.
