Product description
In 2017, James MacTaggart celebrated 10 years as Master Distiller at Arran Distillery (his distilling career spans 40 years).
To celebrate the anniversary, the company has proposed a special edition of whisky limited to 12,000 bottles. The whisky, distilled in 2007, in the first months after the jubilarian took over the position, was aged in 48 bourbon barrels from the Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniel's distilleries. Bottled at a natural alcohol content of 54.2% and without cold filtration, with a label presenting the profile of the master. Arran is one of the most popular Scottish distilleries, with over 100,000 whisky lovers visiting it each year.
