Product description
When in 2014, due to differences in opinions of the owners of Bladnoch Distillery which made it impossible to reach an agreement, the court ruled that it should be liquidated, few people believed that three years later the plant would celebrate its 200th anniversary.
However, Bladnoch soon found a buyer in the person of Australian businessman David Prior, who after selling his thriving dairy company (which produced yoghurts) invested in whisky. Renovation work took about two years, and finally in the summer of 2017 Bladnoch resumed distilling. Earlier, in November 2016, three new versions of Bladnoch were released on the market: Samsara, Adela and Talia. “Samsara”, which means “Rebirth” in Hindi, is a whisky aged in fresh bourbon and Californian red wine barrels and bottled without an age statement.
