Product description
Glenrothes Distillery is owned by The Edrington Group but the Glenrothes brand is owned by Berry Bros & Rudd, who release it predominantly by Vintage.
The Vintage Reserve however shows a different approach; it comprises ten different Vintages from the last three decades: 1989, 1992, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 aged in variety of casks. The oldest constituent, 1989 Vintage, brings mellow oak and dried fruits, while the greatest proportion is 1998 Vintage, which adds soft vanilla notes and the younger vintages supplementing citrusy tones. Glenrothes Vintage Reserve was initially launched in Taiwan in November 2014 with the worldwide release followed in 2015.
