Product description
Penderyn is currently the only whisky distillery in Wales. The single malt was launched in 2004 and caused quite a stir in the whisky world.
In 2015, the company introduced a new series, the so-called Dragon range, consisting of three whiskies bottled without an age statement. The presentation of the series refers to the national symbol, the red dragon, whose history refers to the Romans leaving Britain in the 5th century. Penderyn Legend is a copy of its sister version Madeira - both are made from distillates aged in ex-bourbon barrels from the Buffalo Trace distillery and finished in ex-Madeira barrels. Legend is a slightly younger whisky and bottled with the alcohol content reduced to 41%.
