Camus is a cognac brand that has belonged to the same family for five generations now.
Camus cognac production began in 1863, when Jean Baptiste Camus organised a group of cognac producers to promote their product as La Grande Marque. In early 20th century Camus was a wawrded the status of the official cognac at the Russian tsar court. Today Camus is a global brand employing some 500 people.
Nose: Deep and rich. Notes of citrus, candied fruit, some floral and spicy notes. A hint of vanilla and oak.
Palate: Exceptionally rich and complex. Notes of fresh fruit and candied fruit, including notably the apricot and citrus, are balanced with notes of honey, chocolate, almonds and hazelnuts.
Finish: Long. The fruity notes gradually give way to spice, oak and vanilla.
