Product description
The Ocho brand is one of the very few tequilas that are manufactured in full accordance with traditional methods, using exclusively blue agave harvested at plantations belonging to the company.
That fact makes it possible for the company to call its spirit a Single Estate Tequila. La Alteña distillery, where tequila Ocho is manufactured, is located in the town of Arandas in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Tequila Ocho is the only tequila which declares the vintage as well as exact location of the plantation from which the agave was harvested. The tequila is double distilled in traditional copper pot stills. The Reposado expression is matured for 8 weeks and 8 days in American oak ex-bourbon barrels prior to bottling.
