- Jura Brooklyn is a single malt of unique provenance.
Product description
Jura Brooklyn is a single malt with an unusual genesis.
In 2013 Jura Master Distiller Willie Tait traveled to Brooklyn, New York to meet with 12 local small business owners to formulate the first Kings County single malt . He took samples from six barrels with him, which were tasted and combined in various proportions, and served with local food (breaded chicken, cheeses and chocolates), to develop the formula for Jura Brooklyn. What we do know is that it is a marriage of distillates aged in bourbon, Amoroso sherry and Pinot Noir barrels, the oldest of which spent 16 years in barrel.
