Product description
Laphroaig Lore debuted in spring 2016 and was immediately added to the company's permanent offering. The distillery's statement reads that "it is the story of Laphroaig in a bottle, the fullest and richest whisky from the distillery."
Its creator is John Campbell, the local master distiller, and the name refers to the craft of whisky production passed down from generation to generation. Laphroaig Lore is a blend of distillates aged in first-fill bourbon casks, Oloroso sherry casks, quarter casks and “the finest casks we have at our disposal”. It is bottled without chill filtration, at 48% alcohol.
