Product description
In 2015, two neighbouring distilleries, Ardbeg and Laphroaig, celebrated their 200th anniversaries.
Ardbeg has created a Perpetuum release, which is Latin for “lasting,” blending spirits from different vintages and woods, and has been described as “Ardbeg’s past, present, and future.” The Ardbeg Perpetuum Distillery Release presented here has been bottled at an increased abv of 49.2% and is available exclusively at the distillery. Its creator, Bill Lumsden, says that its “formula is a mix of very old and very young whiskies, silky Ardbegs from bourbon casks and spicy Ardbegs from sherry casks.”
