Ballantine's 30 years old debuted in the 1930s. and was the first whisky in this age range to be offered in the basic range. For the time, it was a move that required planning and securing enough properly aged distillates. Ballantine's 30 years old is the winner of many medals, the last gold won in 2016 at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Aroma
complex, delicately mineral, damp gravel, drying linens, honey, toffee, apples, oranges, raisins, cinnamon, cloves, oak and a trace of smoke.
TASTE
rich and elegant, oranges, grapefruits, mangoes, sherry-soaked raisins, honey, toffee, cloves, a trace of candied ginger, oak and a fleeting smoky note.
FINISH
long and quite spicy, cloves, cinnamon, white pepper, honey, dried fruit and a trace of peat.
