Product description
Clément rums have been produced in Martinique since 1887, when brothers Homère and Charles Clément purchased the 43-hectare Domaine de L'Acajou sugarcane plantation and founded a rum distillery.
The methods they introduced are still honored today. The rhum agricole from their Martinique distillery is made with fresh cane juice instead of the traditional rum made with molasses.
Clement Cuvee Homere is a rum from the Clement distillery’s top-of-the-line master blender rum, made from the highest-rated rums of the last 15 years, matured in French Limousin oak barrels and re-charred American oak bourbon barrels. Each vintage brings its own unique flavor profile, making Cuvée Homere one of the more complex rums with an intense flavor and a long finish.
Nose: Warm biscuits and almonds, baking spices.
Taste : Buttery, with notes of dried fruit, hazelnuts, chocolate, a light pepperiness, a touch of licorice and herbal notes.
