Product description
Signatory Vintage founded in 1988 by Andrew and Brian Symington is one of the leading independent whisky bottling companies.
Not too many people remember that the Symingtons started with only £100,000 and within the first five years went almost bankrupt more than once. In 1993 they managed to make profit for the first time and established a name with their vintage releases. On most of the bottlings the company includes much appreciated information – the cask number, date of distillation and bottling and number of bottles filled. Here we have rather unusual Signatory release from the late 1990s. It is 22 years old Port Ellen, vintage unknown, bottled in beautiful black ceramic jug. Unfortunately we have not been able to obtain any information regarding its content or the outrun of this release.
