Product description
James Buchanan is one of the three so-called whiskey barons, a pioneer of blending and the first whiskey producer to appreciate the power of advertising.
His creation Black & White is still one of the most recognizable Scottish blends. Buchanan's whisky lost some of its popularity at the end of the 20th century, but the new century brought it significant growth, especially in South American countries. Currently, the brand's global sales are at the level of 2 million cases per year. The malt core of the blend is Dalwhinnie, Caol Ila, Clynelish and Glendullan. In our opinion, the Buchanan's Special Reserve 18 years old presented here comes from the end of the last century. In its formula, the content of single malts exceeded 40%, and among them could also be Aultmore and Talisker.
