Calvados Papidoux created at the Cormeilles distillery. Different varieties of apples are used to produce it.
The harvest begins in September and lasts until the first frosts. After selecting the apples, they are fermented for no less than a month. Then, after double distillation, the alcohol is placed in specially prepared barrels. The Fine version matured for 3 years. The Papidoux brand enjoys great success in France and abroad. Especially Germany, which is the second largest market in the world in terms of Calvados consumption. Papidoux can boast a nearly 80% share in this segment.
Perfect as an aperitif or digestif, at room temperature or slightly chilled, and as a base for cocktails.
