Product description
Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey was launched in San Diego in 2018 by husband and wife, Steven Yeng, a Cambodian refugee, and Brittany Merrill Yeng.
The brand was inspired by Yeng’s love for peanut butter, one of the first American foods he tried when arrived to California as a child. Skrewball was an immediate local success and by the end of 2019 got national distribution. In 2021 the brand recorded almost 2000% growth over 2020, and in March 2023 Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake. We do not know the detailed formula of Skrewball; it is made with corn and rye whiskeys, cane sugar and peanuts. It is bottled at 35% abv therefore technically is does not fall into the whiskey category.
