Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut Sleeve champagne / 12% / 0.75l
Product description
Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut Sleeve is a French champagne produced by the renowned champagne house Piper-Heidsieck, founded in 1785 in Reims. A classic dry champagne made from grapes from over 100 plantations. Composed mostly of Pinot Noir from the Champagne region and Pinot Meunier from Grande et Petite Montagnede Reims and Chardonnay.
The pure golden colour harmonizes with the delicate scent of pears, apples and citrus fruits in the taste. The bubbles are small, but lively and elegant, creating a velvety texture. Ideal as an aperitif, for cocktails or desserts. It is recommended to serve at a temperature of 8-10°C.
In 1785, Florens-Louis Heidsieck founded one of the oldest and largest champagne houses in the world, which still creates exceptionally original champagnes. It all started in 1777, when Florens-Louis Heidsieck met Agathe Perthois, for whom he decided to create "a wine that smiles". In 1785, he founded the Heidsieck & Co company, heading towards development with one dream - he wanted to dazzle Marie Antoinette with his cheerful champagne. He succeeded and Marie Antoinette became the first ambassador of the brand. In 1815, Florens-Louis was joined by his nephew, Christian and Henri-Guillaume Piper. The three quickly found a common ground and even after Florens-Louis' death in 1828, the aforementioned duo continued production.
