Product description
Taittinger Nocturne is a “Sec” champagne made up of Chardonnay (40%) and Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (60%). A blend from over 35 different vineyards from different vintages, this wine is aged for four years before being bottled. A dose of 17.5 g/l of sugar cane combined with slow cellaring creates a round and smooth champagne that is perfect for late evening drinking.
Taittinger Nocturne has a light yellow colour with sparkling highlights. The bubbles form a delicate ring of fine foam. The subtle and delicate bouquet reveals delightful aromas of yellow peaches and dried apricots. The opening is smooth and creamy, yet very fresh. On the palate, raisins and fruit in syrup appear. The long and smooth finish is distinctly sweet and full of flavour. A mature, rich and rounded wine, Taittinger Nocturne is also exceptionally smooth and creamy. Taittinger Nocturne is a champagne to enjoy at the end of the evening. It is the perfect accompaniment to dessert or foie gras on gingerbread and should be served at a temperature of 8-10°C.
