Product description
Old Pulteney is the No. 1 single malt in the Inver House Distillers portfolio with annual sales in excess of 550,000 bottles per year, placing it in the top 20 most popular single malts.
(Remember, the official edition debuted in 1997, just two years after the company took over the distillery.) The end of 2017 brought an announcement of changes in the basic commercial offer. The 17- and 21-year-old versions left it, replaced by 25- and 18-year-old versions (the latter will hit the market in 2018). The Old Pulteney 25 years old presented here is a whisky aged for 22 years in bourbon barrels and another 3 in sherry barrels and bottled without chill filtration with an alcohol content of 46%.
Aroma: extremely fragrant, oranges, pineapples, apricots, raisins, milk chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, a handful of herbs from the garden, wax and oak notes.

Finish: long, herbal and waxy, with notes of toffee, vanilla, chocolate, oak and a pinch of salt.
