Product description
Douglas Laing & Co. was owned for over 40 years by brothers Fred and Stewart Laing.
In 2013, the brothers split the assets and went into business for themselves. The Provenance series remained in the Douglas Laing & Co. portfolio, now owned by Fred. Early 2015 brought a change in the visuals – while the previous presentation referred to the season, the current one emphasises the region in which the distillery is based. The Ledaig shown here, distilled April 2009, spent over a decade in a refill hogshead cask no. DL 14016. The whisky was bottled in March 2020 with natural colour and without chill filtration in an edition of 411 bottles.
