Tequila 1800 is a spirit produced at the Casa Cuervo distillery owned by Jose Cuervo, located in the town of Tequila in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
The date 1800 in the name of the drink refers to the year in which tequila was supposedly first produced in Mexico. The shape of the bottle refers to the Mayan pyramids.
This tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, distilled twice in traditional stainless steel stills with copper pot stills.
