Product description
The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivieres VSOP Reserve Speciale is a rum matured in a combination of French and American oak barrels for about 5 and a half years. Awarded the title of best rum in the world at the IWSC competition in 2018.
