Product description
Maison Bache-Gabrielsen has been operating since 1905. One of its oldest creations is the VS Tre Kors presented here (the original label featured three stars instead of three crosses).
During the Norwegian Prohibition (1916-1926), this cognac was sold in pharmacies for three kroner a bottle, as an antidote to the Spanish flu. Today, Bache Gabrielsen VS Tre Kors is a blend of eaux-de-vie distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes from the Fins Bois growing district (75%) and Grande Champagne/Petite Champagne (25%). The cognac is aged for two to four years in French oak barrels. In 2022, this cognac won a silver medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco.
