Product description
King's Inch is a single malt whisky from the portfolio of Courageous Spirits, the Glasgow-based company behind the success of Glaswegin.
King's Inch is the creation of Jack Mayo, former master distiller of Glasgow Distillery, and Jim Swan, a consultant to the sector who died tragically in 2017. The whisky was most likely distilled at Glasgow Distillery and aged in first-fill bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks for around five years. It was bottled at 46% abv, non-chill-filtered, in autumn 2021 in an edition of 5,000 bottles. It won a gold medal at the London Spirits Competition a year later. The name of the whisky refers to the old word for inch, or an island in the River Clyde.
