Product description
Wasmund's single malt is produced by the Copper Fox Distillery located in Sperryville, Virginia.
Built in 2005 by Rick Wasmund, the distillery is equipped with two small stills and also has a small malt house where the barley grain is malted using fruit and oak wood. The distillate is aged in upright barrels with suspended sachets of charred apple and cherry wood, which speed up the maturation process. In the case of Wasmund's Rappahannock single malt, it takes about a year. The bottle presented here is from batch no. 128.
