The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivières Millésime 2000 is a vintage rum, distilled in 2000. It matured for 15 years in American bourbon oak barrels.
Aroma: Spicy, pepper, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla, ripe fruits, tobacco, raisins, herbal notes.
Taste: Lively and full, notes of vanilla, ripe fruit, raisins and spices.
Finish : Long, notes of spice, burnt oak and mint.
