Product description

The oldest champagne house, founded in 1729 by Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. At the age of 23, he learned about a new product at the time, wine with bubbles, which, at the urging of his uncle, prompted him to take up this subject. As the company grew, it made significant investments, including buying ancient cellars dug under the city of Reims, where the beers it produces are still maturing today. In 1817, the family obtained the noble title of Ruinart de Brimont and has been running the company from generation to generation to this day.

Nowadays, the company is still developing dynamically, additionally offering the possibility of visiting its estate and the aforementioned crayeres near the city of Reims, the charming interiors of the quarries are truly wonderful, which is reflected in their inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List and classified as historical monuments.

The first rosé champagne to be widely available on the market. A blend of 45% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims vineyards. 55% Pinot Noir wine comes from the Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne vineyards, of which 18 to 19% was made into red wine. 20 to 25% from reserve wines from the previous 2 years. On the nose it is very subtle and fresh, first of all capturing the aromas of lychee and guava, with the addition of notes of raspberries, cherries and strawberries. Then rose accents appear with a touch of pomegranate. On the palate it is delicate, with a very fine, almost foamy effervescence. The flavors of red fruits are very well integrated, with a long finish and a hint of mint appearing in it.

Perfect as an aperitif, served at a temperature of 10-12 degrees. In culinary combinations, it will work well as a companion to dairy veal, lobster or shrimp. You can also try it with a leg of lamb.
