Product description
M&H (originally Milk & Honey) Distillery was established in 2013.
The distillery is based in Tel Aviv and is the first Israeli whisky producer (kosher, of course). Its production capacity is 800,000 liters of distillate per year (currently used at 25%). In the early years, the distillery was advised by Dr. James Swan († 2017), one of the most distinguished independent master distillers. Due to the summer temperatures reaching 40ºC, the distillates mature much faster than in Scotland, but this is at the cost of an increased so-called "Angel's share". The single cask edition presented here was intended exclusively for the Benelux countries. Distilled on January 11, 2018, the whisky was aged in STR cask no. 2018-0444 (STR stands for “shaved, toasted and re-charred”) and bottled at 55% abv without chill filtration on February 10, 2021. The edition consisted of 211 bottles.
