Product description
Connoisseurs Choice is one of the oldest whisky series in the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio.
It debuted in the mid-1960s when most Scottish malt distilleries were producing for blenders, not even trying to promote their whiskies as single malts. Today, Connoisseurs Choice still competes successfully in the single malt market and has its devoted fans. The 2006 Lochside Edition was distilled just one year before the distillery closed in 1992. Aged in refill bourbon casks for around 15 years and bottled at 43% abv.

Palate: light and sweet, vanilla, honey, cappuccino, oranges, grapefruit, green tea, a handful of fresh herbs, a pinch of white pepper and toasted oak.
Finish: medium long, slightly mineral, with notes of citrus, milk chocolate, vanilla, a bit of tobacco and oak.
