The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivières Triple Millésime is a blend of rums from three vintages – 2001, 2005 and 2011, aged for 12 years in oak barrels.
Aroma : Vanilla, apples, fruits, cinnamon, milk chocolate, nutmeg, oak.
Taste: Vanilla, dried fruit, coffee, sugar cane, spices.
Finish: Long, dried fruit, black pepper, oak.
