Product description
In 1898, William Teacher & Sons built the Ardmore distillery to produce malt whisky for blending the family's blends.
The plant is located in Aberdeenshire in the Highlands and has four pairs of stills and can produce over 5 million liters of distillate per year. In 2005, Ardmore Distillery, along with the Teacher's brand, became the property of Jim Beam Global, and is now owned by Beam Suntory. The whisky presented here, distilled on May 6, 2010, spent 11 years in two bourbon barrels (no. 800999 and 801000), and was bottled on August 6, 2021 at 46% by Signatory Vintage in the popular "The Un-chillfiltered Collection".
