Coloma Rum comes from the very heart of Colombia, and is produced at Hacienda Coloma, a traditional coffee plantation with centuries-old traditions.
The plantation is located at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level, on the outskirts of Fusagasuga, near Bogota. The rum is made from molasses and matures in white oak barrels previously used to store bourbon. As befits a coffee plantation, the final maturation phase takes place in barrels that previously held coffee liqueur.
Coloma 15 Años is a molasses-based rum matured for 15 years in oak barrels ex-American bourbon using the solera system. The final maturation stage was carried out in barrels that previously held coffee liqueur.
Aroma : Delicate aromas of oak, roasted coffee, vanilla and chocolate.
Taste : Notes of roasted coffee, mocha, chocolate, tobacco.
Finish : Long and persistent.
