Product description
If distillery records are to be believed, before 1700 Rossshire farmers were delivering 100 proof whisky to the town of Tain, home of Glenmorangie.
The practice died out in 1916, but at the end of the century the distillery management reminded us of it with the Traditional edition. The whisky was aged for 10 years in bourbon barrels and bottled at the "traditional" strength of 100 British proof (57.2% abv) without prior chill filtration. Glenmorangie Traditional was part of the Travel Retail offer until 2006.
