Product description
Botran rums come from the Quetzaltenango highlands in Guatemala, where they are produced and matured at an altitude of approximately 2,330 metres above sea level.
The altitude and lower temperatures allow for slower and more careful maturation of spirits. Also, the sugar cane grown at such altitudes and later used to produce rum gives the final products extraordinary, unique characteristics.
Botran Cobre Rum is a blend of distillates aged between 5 and 20 years, matured in the solera system, made from traditional American bourbon barrels, intensively charred bourbon barrels and port barrels. It is a molasses-based rum, distilled in a traditional copper pot still. This spirit has been enriched with a blend of spices, including cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
Aroma: Cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, oak notes.
Flavor : Vanilla, caramel, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, oak, cardamom.
