Product description
The tradition of importing rum and its popularity in Germany was historically linked to the activities of the cities of the Hanseatic League, mainly Hamburg and Flensburg.
It was to these ports that merchant ships primarily called, bringing rum from the Caribbean, among other things. It was in 19th-century Hamburg that Heinrich von Have's company was founded, boasting of being the oldest Hanseatic enterprise involved in the production and trade of wine and spirits.
The Hamburg-based family business' Finest Jamaica Rum is a Jamaican-made spirit produced at an undisclosed distillery, matured in oak barrels for approximately 18 months and bottled in Hamburg in bottles bearing the distinctive Art Deco label.
