Product description
Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit was introduced in 1994 and apparently it is the second single barrel bourbon released to the market after Blanton’s.
The man behind it was legendary master distiller Jimmy Russell (currently Master Distiller Emeritus) who personally selected casks for each edition. Originally, the bourbon was presented in unique shaped bottle resembling turkey’s tail-feather display, it was changed in early 2019 for modern bottle with two labels. The whiskey presented here comes from cask # 1130, which was stored in warehouse A on rick no. 21 and bottled on January 16, 2020. Wild Turkey bourbon is distilled from mash composed of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley.
Nose: quite elegant, honey, vanilla, caramel, orange peel, peanut butter, herbal tea, nutmeg, touch of cinnamon and charred oak.
