Product description
Invergordon Distillery is an investment of the Hawker Siddeley Group from 1959. In 1988 it was bought by a group of local managers operating as Invergordon Distillers, and in 1994 its assets were taken over by Whyte & Mackay.
Currently, the facility, equipped with four distillation columns, produces over 40 million liters of distillate per year, most of which goes into Whyte & Mackay blends. The Invergordon 31 years old presented here is a proposal of Hunter Laing & Co. in their boutique series "The Sovereign". The whisky was distilled in March 1988 and matured in a refilled hogshead cask no. HL 17206. In September 2019, its contents translated into 399 bottles of cask strength whisky (53.7% abv).
