Jack Wiebers (Lars-Göran Wiebers) is a German whisky importer and distributor based in Berlin (the official name of the company is Jack Wiebers Whisky World).
Wiebers began his career in 1999 and soon established a reputation as a formidable selector and publisher of whiskies. His portfolio includes several series, including Whisky Castle (discontinued in 2013), Old Train Line, Prenzlow Portfolio Collecton, Great Ocean Liners, The Old Paddle Steamer and Wanted. Rhosdhu (better known as Old Rhosdhu) was one of eight single malts distilled at the Loch Lomond Distillery until around the turn of the last century. The one presented here, the 1990 distillation, spent nearly three decades in a bourbon cask no. 401, which produced 225 bottles of cask strength whisky.
