Product description
Lepanto brandy is produced in Jerez at the González Byass bodega.
The company was founded in 1835 by Manuel Maria González Angel, who was soon joined by his British sales agent Robert Blake Byass. The Byass family sold their shares in the company to the González family in 1998, making it the full owner. González Byass brandies have been produced since 1844 in the heart of Jerez from locally grown Palomino grapes. Distilled in traditional pot stills, the brandy is matured in the solera system in American oak barrels previously used for storing sherry. The Gran Reserva version is aged for 12 years.
