Product description
Many whisky enthusiasts, including George Grant, the distillery owner, consider 15 years old expression a perfect Glenfarclas, one that most deftly demonstrates the complexity of this malt.
Back in 1912 legendary Tommy Dewar praised the 30 years old as one of the best dram he has ever tasted, whichever is a winner might be a matter of a personal taste. The 15 years old is bottled at 46% abv, as the current chairman explains “simply because my grandfather preferred it at this strength. It’s still a family favorite.” (The only other bottling in the core range bottled with abv elevated to 46% is 40 years old).
