The Trois Rivieres estate in Martinique once belonged to the Sun King's minister of finance, Louis XIV.
Today it includes, among other things, a large sugar cane plantation and a rum factory. In accordance with the Martinique tradition, rum agricole is produced here, a spirit distilled from fresh sugar cane juice. It is produced in a rectifying column and, in most cases, matured in carefully selected oak barrels, primarily American bourbon barrels.
Trois Rivieres Ambre is a rum made from fresh sugar cane juice, matured for 12 to 18 months in American bourbon oak barrels.
Aroma : Notes of cane sugar, dried flowers and spices.
Taste: Mild, with notes of honey, caramel, milk and toasted bread.
Finish : Fruity.
