Product description
The history of Deau Cognac begins in 1685, when Louis Deau settled in Charente and began cultivating vines, and soon discovered the art and magic of distillation.
For several generations, his daughter-in-law's family (Legaret) has managed the vineyard and distillery (the latter has 12 stills) and currently has a stock of over 2,000 barrels of eaux-de-vie in its cellars. Deau XO is a blend of cognacs from the Petite Champagne (75%) and Fins Bois (25%) growing districts, the youngest of which was aged for 10 years. XO, like other Deau cognacs, has won many prestigious awards, most recently winning a gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2019.
