Product description
The Hart family began trading in the late 19th century, but it was not until 1964 that brothers Iain and Donald Hart joined the whisky producers, changing the name of the family business to Wine & Spirits Wholesalers and Scotch Whisky Blenders.
Alistair Hart joined in 1975 and remains the Blending Master to this day, selecting the casks for all Hart Brothers whiskies. The Ben Nevis featured here was distilled in December 2003 and matured for over 13 years in an American oak cask before being bottled in September 2017 at cask strength (53.3% abv) and unchill-filtered as part of the Finest Collection. The Ben Nevis Distillery is based in the western Highlands and produces around 2 million of the distillate per year.
