Product description
The single malt Sea Shepherd debuted in 2019 in the Kirsch Whisky Gmbh offering.
The company, founded in 1976 by Dieter Kirsch, is an importer and distributor of whisky on the German market. Its portfolio includes Signatory and Edradour whiskies, Gordon & MacPhail, Ben Nevis, and a dozen or so Irish and American "brands." The single malt presented here was released in cooperation with the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, which deals with the protection of marine fauna. The whisky comes from an undisclosed distillery based on the island of Islay, and a portion of the profits from sales goes to the aforementioned organization.
